Bonsai for Two
Skip the crowded Valentine’s plans and join us the morning after Valentine’s Day for a one of a kind bonsai workshop designed for couples and duos.
In this hands-on class led by Nic, you and your person will build one bonsai together from start to finish. You’ll learn the basics of styling, pruning, wiring, and long-term care while collaborating on every decision, from the first cut to the final details. It’s creative, intentional, and genuinely fun, even if one of you has zero plant experience.
What’s included for each duo
One bonsai tree to create together (species to be announced)
One handmade concrete bonsai pot crafted in house
Premium soil, wiring, top dressing, and decorative rocks
All tools and materials
Step by step instruction in an intimate class setting
This workshop is less about perfection and more about the experience. Slow down, get your hands dirty, and leave with a living piece that represents time well spent together.

💌 Be Mine, Galentine’s Night
Celebrate the love of friendship with a cozy, hands-on Galentine’s night at Maricopa Botanicals.
Join us on Wednesday, February 11th from 6–8pm for an easygoing evening of plants, creativity, and connection. You’ll pot a plant of your choice into one of our handmade heart-shaped planters, enjoy a complimentary drink, and create a love note for a friend, or yourself, at our love letter station.
This experience is designed to feel relaxed, creative, and meaningful, no pressure, no experience required.

I’m Marin Kees, the owner of Florence & Rose Floral Co. Since starting my business, I've been committed to sourcing local flowers from Arizona growers. This summer, I started growing my own blooms, and I'm excited to showcase them to you!
I'm grateful to Maricopa Botanicals for their generous support in hosting us. In this class, I’ll guide you through the art of floral arranging—a hands-on experience that promises to be both enjoyable and informative!
In the spirit of sustainability, please bring your favorite medium-sized vase for the "BYOV (BRING YOUR OWN VASE)" class. If you don’t have one, we’ll provide mason jars for your bouquet. Each participant will receive a medium-sized bouquet and all necessary arranging supplies.
